We provide at least two live-streamed classes a day and a variety of workshops and special events. In-person/outdoor classes will be offered when the situation allows. Private/semi-private classes are available on request.

Class descriptions

One of the things that sets Yoga Seven apart is the variety of teaching and class styles we offer. We do not work to a formula. Each teacher has a different background and different training, and will bring their own unique personality and experience to their classes. We believe this is important so each person can find a teacher and class that connects with them and allows them to get the most out of their bodies and minds.

Yoga

Hatha

An alignment-based all-level class that helps you hold physical postures while incorporating breath work and a mind-body connection. Each teacher brings his or her own experience to the class to make it special. It may include flowing poses and longer holds, centring on a theme or a specific area in the body, or building towards a peak pose. Expect to improve your flexibility, core strength, balance, concentration, and mindfulness.

Hatha Level 1-2

A hatha class that will challenge the more experienced yogis with some intermediate poses.

Slow Flow

A juicy all-level flow class that focuses on integrating breath with movement If indicated, may include a calming meditation to de-stress and find peace for a good night’s sleep.

Flow & Stretch

The perfect combination of two favourite styles of yoga blended together into one delicious all-level class. The Flow portion focuses on integrating breath with movements, flowing into postures. The Stretch portion shifts attention to deep and juicy stretching of all major muscles and connective tissues through a series of slow movements and breath awareness, releasing tightness in your body.

Gentle

This gently paced class is accessible for beginners, those healing from an injury or working with other physical challenges, as well as seasoned practitioners looking for a slow-moving and more reflective practice. This class offers deep stretching, basic postures, and some smooth flowing movement. Expect both floor-based and standing poses as you develop strength, flexibility, and balance. Learn how to use props and modifications to experience poses on a deeper level and help bring the body back into balance.

Yin

Yin yoga practice enhances the natural range of motion in the joints and connective tissues, complementing the more active Yang lifestyles we tend to lead. This all-level class includes deep release and relaxation achieved through floor-based supported poses typically held for 3 to 5 minutes. You will learn to find comfort and stability in poses according to your own body structure and flexibility. If indicated, the class may end with calming meditation and breathwork to help reduce stress and anxiety, allowing us to relax and rest deeply. You’ll finish feeling centered, calm and relaxed.

Power Flow

A challenging vinyasa-based class that links powerful breath with dynamic flowing movements. Move through traditional sun salutations, standing, balancing, seated and reclining poses to build strength, flexibility and stamina in the body. Connect with your breath, focus your mind and challenge your body…then relax in a well-deserved Savasana. This active class is guaranteed to leave you feeling powerful and invigorated!

Renew & Relax

Have you ever wanted to stay longer in Savasana? This all-level class begins with a gentle hatha sequence to help open the body in preparation for longer holds that stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and nourish the body from head to toe. Restorative yoga is a delicious surrender into quiet, soothing postures that incorporate bolsters and blankets. With the support of props, students can achieve poses without muscular strength, facilitating release and relaxation that will calm the nervous system and melt away built-up tension. Breathing techniques and meditation may also be used in the practice. This class is a perfect way to de-stress, leaving you feeling relaxed, renewed and rested.

Fitness

Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates is a total-body conditioning routine designed to build strength; correct body alignment and posture; restore muscular balance; improve mobility, coordination and flexibility; and create long, lean and toned muscles. The focus is on your “powerhouse” or core (abdominals, pelvic floor, lower back, hips, and gluteus muscles). When strengthened, these work together to create a stable foundation for all movement. This low-impact mat class is performed on the floor, consisting of small controlled movements, breath work, and working with your own body weight and gravity. All levels welcome: no previous mat Pilates experience is necessary.

Barre

Get a strong, lean, sculpted body in your own home with this fun and dynamic class infused with elements of ballet, yoga, core, flexibility and strength training. Using a sturdy chair instead of a ballet barre, you will be guided through a series of exercises that focus on small, controlled movements, isometric holds and high repetitions to help shape your body from every angle.

Available only to those with a monthly Prana Warriors membership, our growing on-demand video library contains a mix of recorded 1-hour livestreamed classes and pre-recorded focused content (15-, 20-, 30-, and 60-minute sessions) such as lunchtime stretches, evening wind-down, morning movement, hips and shoulders, HIIT sessions, mat Pilates sessions, guided meditations and more. Take a class wherever you are, whenever you want.
