The 9:30 AM Hot Hatha is cancelled due to the continuing storm and the expectation of hazardous driving conditions. We sincerely hope to be able to offer our noon classes as usual.

Foundations of Yoga

A 4-week progressive Introduction to Yoga workshop guided by Cliff

Brand new to yoga? Returning after a break? Wondering if you are doing it “right”? Join Cliff in this 4-week progressive workshop where you will explore and break down basic postures and get answers to all your questions from “Om” to “Savasana”.

In this small group setting, you’ll receive individualized attention, support and modifications for your body and your needs. You’ll also get to know other participants in our Yoga Seven community and perhaps make some new friends.

Upon completion of the series, you will have gained a foundation to more confidently attend regular classes.  Cliff provides a safe, comfortable, interactive, and fun environment to get you started on your yoga journey and to help you feel comfortable in any yoga class.

  • Week 1: Overview of Yoga Etiquette, History and Philosophy. Terminology and Class Descriptions. Pranayama and Sun Salutations Introduced
  • Week 2: Standing Postures /  Warrior Series / Balancing Postures
  • Week 3: Seated Postures / Twists / Inversions
  • Week 4: Heart Opening Backbends / Arm Balances / Putting it all together

When: Thursdays at 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm, starting on April 19th
Cost: $79 per person (+HST) per four-week session

Inversions with Kiana Ng

Learn the proper alignment in headstand, forearm stand, and handstand. This workshop is designed for those who are looking to start their inversions practice, as well as for those who are looking to refine or strengthen it. No previous experience with inversions necessary!

First, go through a warm up designed to prepare the body for the given inversions, then explore each inversion as you practice its proper alignment, prep. poses and drills so that you can leave this workshop with the confidence to practice these inversions on your own. Expect some playtime with each inversion throughout this workshop!
